Is this you:

It’s bBanyan Botanicals sleep easy oil monica stone the yogi movementeen a long week. Feeling kinda drained. You’re SO happy to be getting under the covers and closing your eyes. Wait, there’s your mind. It won’t shut off. Damn. Another sleepless night.

This is how I feel a lot of the time, honestly. I’m a busy person, and I’m slowly but surely breaking the habit of overcommitting. I’m jumping on the no train as Marie Forleo would say.

I’ve been doing really well planning out my day and scheduling everything in, but then there are some weeks I let get away from me.

Last week was a good example of that. I ended up taking on a lot of back-to-back commitments that I didn’t have the time for.

If you relate, I can’t wait to tell you what’s working for me. Keep reading…

It’s the worst when you feel absolutely drained, but your mind won’t shut off. I’m so thankful to Banyan Botanicals, an affiliate partner, for sending the Sleep Easy Oil to review. It’s seriously been a life saver.

Sleep Easy Oil The Yogi Movement Monica Stone

This oil is a blend of sesame oil, coconut oil, sunflower oil, olive, ashwagandha, bala, guduchi, bhringaraj, passionflower, skullcap, valerian, licorice, nutmeg, jasmine flowers, and chamomile flowers.

I know a lot of this sounds like gibberish to you, so let me translate. This is considered a cooling blend, and these oils together promote a restful sleep because they combine the qualities of:

  • Stress management
  • Creating a calm mind
  • Calming the nervous system
  • Helping with stomach problems
  • Taking the edge off anxiety

Here’s how this works.

About 20 minutes before you’re ready to go to sleep:

1. Pour a little bit of sleep easy oil on your hands

2. Rub on your temples

3. Massage your head

4. Massage your feet

How To Use Sleep Easy Oil

The oils will absorb, and start to create a calming effect on the whole body. I wasn’t sure it would work, but I’ve been using it every night and my mind is finally able to rest when I hit the sheets.

It doesn’t make you drowsy like NyQuil. Instead, after the 20 minutes it takes to sink in, you’ll begin to experience a relaxing effect that takes you through the night.

I think it’s also important to note that my kitty, Oliver, really likes Sleep Easy Oil too.

Homework time!

Tell me in the comments what keeps you up at night? Come on. Be brave and share it with the world. And, if you have a mind calming trick – share that too!

Namaste,

Monica
