Some Things To Make Your Life Easier…

Friday Fixes

October 17, 2014 By Monica Stone-Thompson 5 Comments

Hey Everyone!

How has your week been? I don’t know about you, but my week has been nutty, nutty, and NUTTY! Seriously, it’s been an emotional roller coaster of craziness mostly revolved around my job. I’d rather not talk about it in detail because I’m all about focusing on the positive. Plus it’s Friday! Oh, and it’s my dad’s birthday today! Happy birthday pops!

Because it’s been an insane week (and that’s an understatement), I want to make Friday Fixes about things that made my life a little easier this week, and hope they help you too!

Yumminess in my mouth and my belly:

In a Hurry Green Curry from 101 Cookbooks

Food Prep Tips:

15 Freezer Meals & Snacks from The Lean Green Bean

Breakfast to make my kitchen smell yummy:

Ultra Fluffy Vanilla Pumpkin Chickpea Pancakes from Strength and Sunshine

Inspiring:

Epiphany: I worry In An Attempt To Control Things by Erica House

Learning to Say No:

Tips for Turning Down Work that’s Not A Good Fit from ByRegina

Also, I’m excited because I signed up for the Food Blogger Pro course, so I could learn to be as awesome as the people from Pinch of Yum! It’s only $1 for the first month, so I couldn’t turn that down! Don’t worry, I’m not turning into a food blog, but this course will just teach me how to be a better blogger regardless! I can’t wait to learn and connect with other bloggers.

I hope you enjoyed reading some of those. What made you smile this week?

Love,

Monica

Monica, I love that In a Hurry Green Curry post. It’s actually starting to be (somewhat) Fall here in Austin, so I feel like hot dishes, soups, and spicy foods are in order. I also want to make those chickpea pancakes–I’ve only ever used them for pizza crust and hummus.

Thank you for the link to my post as well. I appreciate you.

If you make the curry, let me know what you think! I actually purchased curry paste, but added a lot more than she said.
